Methuselah is a personal AI agent operated by Eli Gundry that responds to text messages (SMS) and emails. It is a private hobby project used by me and my wife, not a commercial service offered to the public. By interacting with Methuselah, you agree to these terms.

The service

When you send a message or email to Methuselah, an automated agent reads it and sends back a reply. Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. Do not rely on Methuselah for emergencies, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Consent to receive messages

By providing your phone number and texting the service (or replying YES to a consent prompt), you consent to receive SMS messages from Methuselah. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. We will never share your number for third-party marketing.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the agent. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We are not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

Help and opting out

Acceptable use

Don't use Methuselah for anything unlawful, abusive, or harmful, and don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or misuse the service. Because this is a personal project, it is provided on a best-effort basis and may change or stop at any time without notice.

No warranty

Methuselah is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eli Gundry is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Privacy

Your use of Methuselah is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
